BAFTA nominations lacking diversity
Nominations out this morning are being accused of being too white and too male orientated.
what happened to the best person or persons winning instead of having to hand out awards to everyone just to keep others happy?

The ethnics weren't moaning when '12 years a slave' won everything in sight. They have such a sense of entitlement.

Being the best at what you do is the correct measure. The colour of your skin or what gender you happen to be should not even be an issue.

The demand for positive discrimination is sickening.

If you want to win awards just be better at what you do than a white bloke. It really is that simple now.

Being accused by who? Momentum supporters on Twitter?

Anyone who watches the BAFTAs is gay anyway.

Fact.

Quite. Which makes people crying foul because there's not enough women/blacks/gays/albino transsexuals nominated even more ridiculous.

Yeah. What ever happened to the "best person" winning these entirely subjective awards about which there is no way of objectively deciding, and therefore no meaningful way of knowing, who the actual "best person" is.

Ha, how cutely naive of you. You should know meritocracy isn't allowed anymore for fear of offending minorities.
